Join Diane Sherrill, owner of NativeEarthscapes, for a tour of one of the most beautiful tracts on the Refuge. With some winter rains, we're hoping for a good wildflower season, in spite of the horrendous drought. Other plants--grasses, trees and shrubs--will also be noted. Tips on identification, drought tolerance, wildlife preferences, and landscaping will be discussed. Be prepared for a 3 hour hike in Hill Country terrain. Dress for the weather, including sturdy walking shoes. Bring water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, and a curious attitude.
Directions will be provided after registration is received.
Registration is limited to 15 people.
