Join the Friends of Balcones Canyonlands NWR to continue its support of enhancing wildlife and its habitat.
By joining the Friends of Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge you will be getting involved in an organization whose mission is to complete the Refuge. You will join others with similar interests in setting out to educate the general public, their elected representatives, and others in a position to help regarding the importance of the Refuge and the need to complete it.
The Friends maintain one class of membership with several recommended contribution levels. Within the class of membership there are two categories of members; Family or Business Categories. All levels within the class of membership receive the same basic benefits. One person of the family or business shall be primary to receive Newsletters and enews communications. Each membership has one voting right. Our Annual Business Meeting is in October. An announcement and agenda will be emailed to you.
We are a 501(c)3 organization as described in the Internal Revenue Code. No gifts or other considerations are provided to you by Friends of Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, and you may deduct 100% of your contribution as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
