UPDATE 10/17/19:

The schedule for the Annual Meeting activities was finalized at a board meeting last night and here it is:

10:00 am: The day will begin at Doeskin Ranch at with a hike led led by Master Naturalists Lynette Holtz and Fred Zagst. (The hike is optional).

11:30 am: Dedication of the new pavilion at Doeskin Ranch:

12:00 pm: Lunch by Mambo Italiano at Flying X Ranch.

1:00 pm (or when lunch is finished): Business meeting including election of board members, guest speaker biologist Chris Harper, service awards, and a presentation by Kelly Purkey, Refuge Manager

Annual Membership Meeting

Nov. 16, 2019, noon

Flying X Ranch

Announcing the Annual Meeting of Members of Balcones Canyonlands NWR. It will be held at the Flying X Ranch again this year. Lunch will be provided by Mambo Italiano.

Our Refuge Manager, Kelly Purkey will present an overview of happenings at the Refuge and what is coming up.

We will also have an interesting and informative guest speaker.

Volunteer awards will be presented and election of new board members will take place.

At the conclusion of the meeting, join us at Doeskin Ranch for the dedication of the the new amphitheater. You won't want to miss this especially if you have not seen this new facility yet.

Flying X is located about 1 mile north of Doeskin on FM 1174. It is on the left (west) side. Be careful, it is easy to miss.   https://goo.gl/maps/GEnVgYHhuYG7eYvw9
