Friends Workshop

Let's take a field trip!

What: Tour of the Upper Highland Lakes Nature Center followed by a short interpretive hike.

Where: The Upper Highland Lakes Nature Center is located at the Reveille Peak Ranch 8 miles NW of Burnet, TX (directions below).

Date: Friday May 26, 2017 - Meet at 9:00 am for Nature Center tour. Hike will immediately follow and we should be done around 11:00 am. Bring your own sack lunch and eat in the pavilion overlooking the lake if you wish.

Why: We want to get together, learn about a new place, and show our gratitude.

Driving directions - From the main Burnet intersection of 29 and 281 take 29 west approx. 2 or 3 miles and pass the Red Top Bait Shop on the left. Take the next right onto 2341 and go 4 miles to the first left turn lane onto CR 114. The entrance to the ranch/Nature Center is immediately on the left. Go down the dirt road to the pavilion. 

Bring water, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hat if you wish
