When it's too hot to hike but we still need our vitamin N, it's time for a fun webinar!

Most humans have a better memory for sights than for sounds. It is usually easier to both describe and remember a bird you’ve seen than a bird you’ve heard. In this presentation, you’ll develop a better vocabulary for describing bird sounds, and learn how to “see” sounds—to help you better understand what you’re hearing. Finally, you’ll learn some memory tricks to help you remember those sounds, and then take a virtual walk in the woods, to practice separating overlapping bird sounds.

What a  great way to spend a Texas July morning when it’s too hot to be out hiking and birding!  Once the mornings are a bit less steamy, we will be well prepared to grab our binocs and explore nature in the company of some of the best singers on the planet!
